Homonuclear Gradient Selective Double-Quantum Filtered COSY Spectra

      Homonuclear DQ-COSY experiment using gradient selection

  • Pulse sequence: standard Bruker pulse sequence cosygpmftp, using pulsed field gradients
  • Pulsed Field Gradients: sine-shaped, 1 ms duration, maximum strengths=10 G/cm and 20 G/cm (double-quantum coherence selection); 
    PFG treatment method: Coherence Transfer Pathways
  • Spin system: three 1H nuclei at Ha=4.2 ppm, Hb=2.8 ppm, Hb'=3.4 ppm; scalar couplings: Jab=20 Hz, Jab'=12 Hz, Jbb'=30 Hz

  •                       (this spin system corresponds to cysteine, the scalar couplings were increased for illustration puproses)
  • Spectrometer frequency: 500 MHz (1H)
  • Acquisition: 512 t1-increments with 256 complex points (t2) each
  • Processing details: zero filling to 512 x 512 points, apodization using 90o shifted sinebell, TPPI method, phase correction in F1 and F2
